Annual Prayer for Life

Annual Prayer for Life

On August 7th our parishioners gathered for a Prayer for Life created and led by our Youth Leaders at the Peace Pole. This year the young people chose the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary as a reminder of what we have to look forward to as disciples. Their intentions included all those impacted by the recent tragedies in California, El Paso and Dayton. The service concluded with a Litany of the Saints as we called upon their intercession so that the life and dignity of the human person is respected throughout our world.

Building Renovations

Building Renovations

Thanks to the tremendous generosity of our parishioners phase 2 of our bathroom renovations are taking place this summer. In 2018 the bathrooms on the first floor of our school were replaced. This summer we are completing the bathrooms on the ground and second floors. You can see the new stall doors in the picture. All of the sinks, toilets and urinals are being replaced. Water saving devices are part of the project too. Our parish’s Upon this Rock funds are being utilized for this project. Make sure you attend a Coffee Social in the fall so you can check out our new bathrooms on the ground floor!

The candidates went to the Cathedral at 2pm to complete the Rite of Election with Bishop Malone. We have six adults preparing for full initiation into our Church at the Easter Vigil. Two of them are elect which means that they will receive all three Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil. Please keep them in your prayers!
