Faith Formation Field Trip to St. Joseph Cathedral

Faith Formation Field Trip to St. Joseph Cathedral

On November 5th some of our 7th and 8th Grade Faith Formation youth took a trip to St. Joseph Cathedral.  They toured the Cathedral and then stayed for the 4:30pm Mass. We were especially touched when both Fr. Bob’s brother, Michael Wardenski and our retired parish secretary, Gay Ann McEwen were included in the Prayer of the Faithful there.
Many of the young people were fascinated by the organ (it has 5000 pipes), and they were all intrigued by the Reliquary that contains 366 relics!
VERY PRODUCTIVE PARISH SERVICE DAY

VERY PRODUCTIVE PARISH SERVICE DAY

On Saturday, October 22nd a group of our parishioners helped prepare the Rural Outreach Center’s Code Blue Shelter in Holland. In just 3 hours they cleaned the yard, painted 2 bedrooms and the living room, cleaned the windows (inside and out), blinds, bathroom, and kitchen including the refrigerator and stove. WOW! It was incredible to see the body of Christ at work!

This Parish Service Day was part of our Diocese’s 175th Anniversary Celebration. Thank you to all of the volunteers who served that day! Please continue to pray for the Rural Outreach Center’s efforts to help our brothers and sisters in Christ.
