Mass on March 29, 2020

Click on the button below to watch Fr. Bob Wardenski preside Mass for the Fifth Sunday of Lent.

If you are on Facebook you may also watch it on our Facebook page.

This was our first recorded and livestreamed Mass, so please be patient with us. We are learning new ways to be Church during this challenging time in our world.

Praying at Home During this Time

Although we cannot physically gather for Mass as a community, we can all do a prayer service.
Click on the button below to go to our Prayer at Home page.
Each week a prayer service for the upcoming Sunday will be posted.
Additional resources for parents may be found on the Parent Resources page of the Youth Ministry website.

Words and Wisdom and Inspiration at this Difficult Time

This video is under 7 minutes in length so it fits the Fr. Bob guideline that a homily should be less than 8 minutes. We hope it gives you comfort until we can gather together again.

Coronavirus Update

Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger announces that there will be no regularly scheduled public Masses in the Diocese of Buffalo until further notice due to an abundance of caution and growing concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus.  Churches may remain open, as locally feasible, and the faithful are encouraged to continue to visit and pray while maintaining a prudent distance from one another.

In addition, all other parish events and large gatherings are to be postponed, including Confirmations.  Funerals will continue to be conducted, though with only immediate family present until further notice.  All Catholic schools will remain closed until April 20, 2020.

Immaculate Conception Church cancelled all parish events and activities.
The Parish Volunteer Party for April 19th is also cancelled.

The Diocese of Buffalo will continue to provide regular updates on the impact of the coronavirus threat on Catholic life and Diocesan operations.

Prayer for a Pandemic

May we who are merely inconvenienced
Remember those whose lives are at stake.
May we who have no risk factors
Remember those most vulnerable.
May we who have the luxury of working from home
Remember those who must choose between
Preserving their health or making their rent.
May we who have the flexibility to care for
Our children when their schools close
Remember those who have no options.
May we who have to cancel our trips
Remember those that have no safe place to go.
May we who are losing our margin money
In the tumult of the economic market
Remember those who have no margin at all.
May we who settle in for a quarantine at home
Remember those who have no home.
As fear grips our country,
Let us choose love.
During this time when we cannot physically
Wrap our arms around each other,
Let us yet find ways to be the loving embrace of God to our neighbors.
