Altar Server of the Year
Congratulations to Taylor McClure who received the Altar Server of the Year Award! She received her Altar Server Medal from Bishop Malone at St. Joseph Cathedral on February 16th.
Sr. Johnice & Response to Love
On Sunday, February 10th Sr. Johnice, Founder and Director, and Mike Gilhooly, Assistant Director of Response to Love Center spoke to our Confirmation students and parishioners about the work they do at the Center. Sr. Johnice shared how she met St. Mother Teresa and asked if she could return to Calcutta to learn how to serve. St. Mother Teresa challenged her to find her own Calcutta, and she did on the east side of Buffalo.
First Faith Fests
On November 7th and 10th we had our first Faith Fests for families with children in grades 1-5. The goal of the Faith Fests is to help weave faith into family life. Advent was the focus of these first gatherings. Each family made a goal for each week of Advent focused on hope, peace, joy and love. These goals were written on a gift box that they cannot open until Christmas!!!!
